Our Story
A small team of missionaries and local believers began meeting, praying, and asking God for the regions of Spain, we all cried out for a movement. These prayer calls and strategic gatherings led to the formation of a core group committed to multiplying disciples and churches across all 17 regions of Spain.
The coalition formalized its commitment afther their first gathering in Granada, Spain during the fall of 2022, outlining the passion and vision to see a Disciple Making Movement in each region of Spain.
As the vision grew, more churches and organizations joined the partnership from outside of Spain, with the involvement of sending Churches and Sending Agencies, willing to support and acompany the teams on the ground. Today, Spain1700 is a network of nearly 20 churches and ministries, united by prayer, collaboration, and a passion to see 1,700 Disciple Making Movements (DMMs) established by 2034.
